The biggest difference between mini PCI-E and PCI is the broadband size.

PCI Express bus is a completely different from the past PCI bus, it’s a new bus specification,and PCI bus shared parallel architecture compared to the PCI Express bus is a point-to-point serial connection device connection, each device is required to to establish their own transmission channel to transfer data,this operation to ensure the channel’s proprietary, to avoid interference with other devices.

PCI-E has become the mainstream of the graphics interface.

2.MSATA interface appearance and mini PCI-E although the same, under normal circumstances the two can not be compatible.
